Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hey Loves,

Welcome back to my blog. Just a disclaimer, I LOVE doing TAGS and I think it's a great way to still maintain/upkeep your blog when you're in between posts or just wanting to share more information about yourself.

I found this tag while creeping through Emily Noel's blog, Beauty Broadcast. Yes, I tend to do that. She explained that she had found the tag on Beautyholics Anonymous' blog and that it would be fun to do. I agree. I definitely feel that this one was fun to do and it gave me "check." I acknowledge and realize that I am a procrastinator. I believe it has a lot to do with my anxiety. Seriously. If you want to see what Emily's tag looked like, click here

I hope you don't find these to be too boring or annoying since I have done a few on here recently. If you do, then you know the drill. That means if you don't like these type of blog posts, then please feel free to check out any of my other posts that I have on here that you may find more interest in.

Alright, you all ready?

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... GO!

1. Name a beauty regimen that you rarely do?

I would say a beauty regimen that I rarely do is moisturize. I wish I did it more often, but I have this irrational thought that because my face is oily, acne prone, and sensitive that I can't moisturize it without irritating one of the three problems that I have with my skin. I also don't moisturize my body is general. I really need to do so because one day I will regret it.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

HAHAHA, NO! I wash my brushes maybe every month or so. I donʻt use many brushes throughout the month due to always wearing basic makeup and not wearing much eyeshadow, blush, or contouring. I have a few different foundation brushes that I use so I can go without washing my brushes for a while.

I hope I never get pink eye. *Knock on wood*

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

Not that long. I would say a few days. I cannot stand chipped nail polish. I have to constantly keep my nails on fleek.

I'm done with this! LMAO!

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

Hmm, I would say not too long. I might wait maybe a week or less dependent on the product. I am really good with having more than what I need, having backup, or other products that I can use up in the mean time. The great thing about being a makeup addict is that you can never run out of a product without having an alternative or replacement of some sort.

Yeah, okay. Who am I kidding?

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

This is going to sound gross and many of you will probably tell me how I should know better given my skin type, but I would have to say my worst beauty habit it popping my pimples or zits. Yes, it is absolutely disgusting and I have suffered the consequences from such. I admit, I have acne scars and craters from not properly taking care of my skin and not listening to everyone when I was younger. I will probably make a post on my experiences with acne and how it affects my life.

Super bad habit. It's def hard to break.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Hmm, there is soo many given how my life is currently, but I would have to say HOMEWORK (a few months ago) or PAPERWORK (currently). I can wait till the night before or day of to do it. It's something about rushing to finish that helps me do it. I guess you can say I like to thrive under stress for certain situations.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

Yes/No. It really depends on where I am going. If I am going somewhere chill with my friends, then yes, but if I am going somewhere that requires me to put in more effort into my looks then I donʻt wait til last minute to get ready. I can take anywhere between 10 minutes to almost 2 hours to get ready given the occasion.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

No, I cannot. I donʻt have much bans to spend, but I have been spending more than I should be on makeup. Although, to justify myself, most of the money/gift cards I used to purchase my makeup has been from my graduation and birthday. In general though, I am a good paycheck or tax return baller. The struggle is real. Sorry, not sorry!

Truuuuuuuuuuu

9. How organized are your make-up and nail polish collections?

I would say fairly organized. I have them set it their own special places, but I can do better. I have a really small counter space that doesn't permit much room to store my makeup and nail polish. One day I will do a video clip of where I store my products. It could literally be a 15 second Instagram video. That's how small of a space I am working with. My hope is to one day be able to get a makeup stand or vanity where I can store my collections, but I'll probably have to wait until I get a bigger place.

GOALS! Watch Lisa Pullano's video! You'll see what I mean.

So what did you think? Am I a horrible procrastinator or am I average? Like I mentioned earlier, I know that I am a procrastinator and I honestly need to work on it. As time goes on, maybe I will develop healthier habits and will become as organized and timely as I once used to be.

Hope you all liked this tag and I invite you to try this. Please make sure to tag me or share it with me. The ways you can connect with me are listed on your righthand side. Also, please make sure to +1 this and share it if you found this to be interesting.

Hope you are all well and thank you for continuing to follow my blog. Love you all and see you soon!

XOXO,

***Birthday Haul***

Hey Loves!

How are you all doing? I hope you're doing well and enjoying Summer so far!

I wanna let you in on a little secret; I turned 24 years old on the 25th and damn do I feel old! LOL. In this post I wanted to share with you some gifts/things/treats that I picked up because of my special day. Normally, I don't do make birthdays a big deal for myself personally, but I figure why not start celebrating my life more. I am not getting any younger, nor I am super old. Each year, I try to set a goal that I would like to accomplish during this point/age in my life. This year, I figure I treat myself more like a queen and appreciate myself more. I have insecurities like any other female living during these times where size 0, selfie filters, the newest diet fad, etc., etc, etc., is in. Wait, that's been going on for a while now. Never mind.

As I was saying, I would like to love myself more, which to me means that I take care of myself more. I will do things that truly make me happy, I will eat better, exercise, and do things that relieve my stress. It will take some time for me to get into the habit of loving myself more, but I know that I will get there.

Alright, let's get back to the reason for this post. Gosh, I go off on so many tangents. Luckily, they're at least related. Well, at least to me they are.

Anyhow, I had the privilege of going to Bath & Body Works, Forever 21, MAC, and Sephora, and getting my nails done. I didn't go all in one day and by no means am I trying to brag, show off, or flaunt that I got these items. Most of these were gifts from my family and friends and then I purchased the rest. If you don't like these kinds of posts, please feel free to take a look at my other posts that I have here on my blog.

You good? Alright, let's get into it!

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale

I got these candles during their semi-annual sale for $11 each which is essentially the 2 for $22 deal they have. I re-stocked on the Cherry Blossom Sangria scent. It is by hands down, my FAVORITE scent for BBW besides Pomegranate Lemonade (it came out a few years ago and has never returned *sad face.) It is a light sweet floral scent with a hint of citrus from the sangria. It is such an amazing scent and I love that it isn't too over powering. Most scents I tend to gravitate towards are more on the sweet, citrus sides. I guess I also tend to like that combo mixed with cherry blossom (I love, love spell from VS which has cherry blossom in it as well.) I'll post some of my favorite scents from BBW in the future if you all are interested. Let me know in the comments below if you would be.

Forever 21 Jewelry

I picked up some jewelry, which is rare for me to do since I stick to my everyday pieces such as my hawaiian bracelets and rings that match them. I decided to pick these up to try something new and also I thought they would be very versatile with clothing I already have. I wore the gold tree branch neckalace for my birthday dinner. I'll be doing a mini post breaking down my MOTN and OOTN soon.

Forever 21 Clothes & Jewelry

I also picked up a couple of clothing pieces from Forever 21. I wore the blue dress on my birthday, which actually has some cut outs in the back with a steel colored zipper. It's goes above the knee and compliments my body type. It helped to give me some curves and look slimmer. The cardigan I picked up is soo out of my color range and is soo comfy! It's soft to the touch and even the male cashier was in love with it. He said he wanted to buy it for his girlfriend so he could touch it all the time. LOL. It's going to be perfect for work and I love that it has a hoodie. The hoodie will def come in handy when I get too cold in meeting or annoyed. Either way, I'm using it. The flats are just adorable and I've never owned a pair of camel/brown colored flats before. It'll go soo well with my more lighter colored work clothes.

MAC & Sephora combined
Now to the part you've all been waiting for! I will have these items listed in alphabetical order which may not align with it show in the picture.

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown
  • Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner in Black *mini*
  • Beauty Blender in Black
  • Bite Neutral Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Date & Fig
  • Bite Vivid Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Lingonberry & Tangerine
  • Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Fundation in Light 48
  • Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella (deep red) & Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien (dusty rose) *Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gift*

  • MAC Dazzleglass in Sugarrimmed (Le Disko Collection)
  • MAC Lip Conditioner
  • MAC Paint Pot in Painterly (might return for soft ocre)
  • Mac Pro Longwear Lipglass in Infinitely Likeable

Now that I have posted up this haul, I can open these babies up and use them! I cannot wait! I have had my eyes on most of these for quite some time now. I am lucky to have had people buy or give me money to buy these precious new babies of mine. I am beyond blessed to be here on the Earth for a 24th year of life. I have learned and experienced soo much in my 23rd year of life, well, my whole life in general. I can't wait to see what is in store for me this year. I hope to continue growing and learning what I need to as well as live life to the fullest.

Having said that, I will now end this post and wait patiently for the time where I can use all of these wonderful gifts.

Before I go, do you all think my posts are too long or what? I would appreciate the feedback in the comments below as I am fully getting into this blog now.

I'll see you all in the next post. Take care!

My Current MAC Lipstick Collection & Swatches with BONUS swatches!!!

Hey Loves,

Welcome back to my blog. I've been looking at my bathroom counter lately and trying to figure out if I can fit a lipstick holder due to my MAC lipstick collection growing which gave me this idea for this post. I figure since my collection is growing, I should show you my current collection with swatches!

My collection will guarantee continue to grow due to the fact that I am obsessed and in love with MAC lip products. I have a list of colors I would like to purchase soon. It's one of my addictions... I currently have 13 lipsticks. I have been growing my collection since 2011. I still have that lipstick and I still use it. What? It still smells like cupcakes so I believe its good.... Also, I have found out how you can tell when the lipsticks were made. I will post about it soon!

As you can see from the pictures below, I have basically stuck with the "normal" shades and have some bright or bold colors too. I tend to stick to more nude colors due to the work that I do. I wish I could wear bright and bold lip colors to work, but I actually like wearing them at home when I do my full makeup looks or just playing. I've been doing it since my first lipstick purchase. I'll also be doing a post on that as well so be on the look out.

My current & growing collection :)

Here are the swatches on my arm. I am light/fair skinned with a yellow undertone. I have the colors going from lightest to darkest #nofilter.

Swatches in direct sunlight

Slightly more close up of the colors in direct sunlight

Colors in the shade/not direct sunlight

I personally feel that the colors in general look better and are more true when they are in the shade. Don't get me wrong, I love what they look like in direct sunlight, but it's true form that I am used to is in the shade or indoors. Also, that's how I swatched them before I bought them. (duhhh, crystal!)

B O N U S ! ! !

Before we get started with this bonus round, I just wanted to say that I took all of these lip swatches on the same day during the prime time for natural lighting with no lip liner. It was SUPER hot and my lips were burning soo bad from the combo of swatches and the direct sunlight on them. Ahhh, the things I do for this blog... LOL! It was all worth it though!

Again, I am light/fair skinned with a yellow undertone so these are what the colors look like on me. Also, please don't mind the way my skin looks. I was testing a foundation stick and you can already see what it does/doesn't do. Review will be up sometime in the near future. #nofilter!

Anyways, let's get to it shall we?

*The names of the lipstick will be listed under the photo as well as the finish.*

Cremecup (cremesheen)

Cherish (satin)

Viva Glam V (lusture)

Viva Glam II (satin)

Mehr (matte)

Velvet Teddy (matte)

Whirl (matte)

Candy Yum Yum (matte)

Heroine (matte)

True Love's Kiss (Maleficent Collection LE)

Ruby Woo (retro matte)
Stone (matte)

Cyber (satin)

D O U B L E  B O N U S ! ! !
1 mineralize lipglass & 1 pro longwear lipglass!!!

Lovingly Yours (mineralize glass)

Anthurium (Pro Longwear Lipglass Maleficent Collection LE)

So did you all enjoy these swatches or what?! I sure did! I can't wait to see what my collection will look like by the end of the year! I was thinking that I could do one more by the end of the year because as I mentioned earlier, these are vice for my addiction. You can find all of these lip products on MAC's website with the exception of the limited edition Maleficent lippies. Sorry!

Before we end, just a funny little story: while I was doing my swatches, I had all of the caps on top of my iPad out of the sunlight and during this I was using my mirror to put on the swatches. Well, remember the part in Toy Story when Sid uses the magnifying glass to burn Woody's forehead? Well I accidentally did that to my FIRST MAC lipstick, which is my Viva Glam II! I was swatching a lipstick and thought I smelled someone smoking a cigarette. Then I noticed that there was smoke and I looked to find that the cap was melting from my mirror on top of my iPad. Luckily, I caught it on time before I could make any damage to my iPad, but it was too late for my cap.

Childhood memories turned to accidental harm to my prized possession

I started to laugh shortly after because the Toy Story scene came to my mind when this happened, but I am honestly pretty bummed out that I burned it since it was my first ever MAC lipstick as well as a name brand/high end product that I ever bought, but I was able to save it. I consider this to be one of my prized possessions. It reminds me how far I have come on this makeup collection, addiction, and/or hoarding journey.

Here's a pic of what it looks like now. It still manages to close all the way, but I wanted to show you what the damage was.

I made a boo boo :(

Maybe for this case, I need to utilize my educational and work tool called "strengths based." You basically take a negative characteristic or behavior and turn it into a positive. For example, we have a youth that is selling drugs, we say "they are good with money or they're an entrepreneur." So with that, I will have to say "this lipstick has character and is uniquely different from the rest." *I'll just keep telling myself that to make me feel better. LOL!*

I love having these mini fails or fun, quirky moments that happen because it keeps life fun and interesting. Also, it reminds me that I am doing this as a hobby, self-care, and sharing my interests with whomever is willing to take the time to read/follow me or my blog.

Thanks for sticking this out with me and I hope you enjoyed it. Also, I hope you saw some colors that you were interested in and maybe this will help you to decide what to purchase next from MAC.

Me & SID!
I hope you all are doing well and I am extremely excited to see how far this blog is going to get. I will now leave you will a semi-awkward photo of me and my new weapon "Sid" with aftermath of the swatches.

Take care and see you next time!

Crystal

Cut Crease FAIL

Hey Loves,

Long time no talk to! I have been busy with finishing up my last months of education, graduating with my Master's, and moving up to full-time at work. With all that being said, I have said time and time again that I would like to be more consistent with my blog. As a part of self-care, a term that most helping professionals use, I will use this as a positive outlet or way of taking myself out from the daily bustle of my work.

I will eventually do a Q&A type of blog where you can get to know me more on a personal level. Stay tuned for that. If that is something you all want anyways. Let me know in the comment section down below and shoot me some questions on Twitter. Information is listed to your right.

Okay now on to the reason for this post...

Soo I literally just got done with attempting a cut crease look and geez, it is not as easy as I thought it would be. I have to say that I understand that I have a very crappy eye shape, in terms of not being able to achieve many looks as most MUA's or YouTubers due to having more lid space, but can a girl catch a break? I had to wipe my eyes more than several times and my eyes are now dry, irritated, and I am afraid they will be swollen by tomorrow. UGH. I had that happen during the day of my graduation. It was TERRIBLE. I am thankful that it doesn't show in most of my pics, but it was like that for a couple days after.

Anyways, I was trying to follow a couple of videos that I watched and one YouTuber, Marla Nyamdorj's video where she angles her cut crease due to her eye shape. I was thinking it seemed sort of complicated, but I could recreate it if I tried hard enough. Definitely NOT the case. I attempted it and FAILED. I must have angled it at least four times and it just wasn't working. I figured maybe I had enough of a crease to do it the "normal" way. The video itself, is super helpful and I really like how she angled it versus doing it the "normal" way. Probably if I practice more and get more comfortable with cut crease in general, I'll be able to do it.

Then I watched J LINHH's video which seemed really easy to recreate. I figured with this that the most important part was the blend and make sure I still have a defined line. THAT was NOT the case. The look appears to be simple, but elegant. I love the look and thought it would be perfect for me. I ended up following her video and getting it after three tries, but alas at the end, it was a FAIL.

I had the look all completed with a full face done and all. I tried to take pictures of the look, but it ended up looking terrible on camera. I didn't even save any of them. I thought about creating this post after the fact. FAIL. Just a night of FAIL's. LOL.

I guess you can say that I am pretty mad that at my first attempt at cut crease, I was defeated and I feel like I am not capable in understanding my eye shape. I am not a professional MUA nor do I claim to be, but I am pretty confident in my skills and abilities as someone who is self-taught. I mean, I have been watching YouTube Beauty Guru's for at least 2 years now and have been able to pick up on various tips, tricks, etc, You would think that I would know my eye shape by now and how to best compliment it. I guess I need to study it more and search for more videos, blogs, articles, etc on those with hooded eyes or eyes that require more of a different approach in application.

I feel that overall, I have grown as a hobby makeup lover and have looked back at my Instagram posts from last year which have solidified my belief in my growth. TRUST. Look back at my old posts. Even my recent posts are better than some from a couple months ago. LOL. Okay, now I am feeling better cuz I had to revisit the journey I have been through and how I will continue to grow because that is what we do people. We go on multiple journeys and we grow from them.

Sorry that this has turned more into a rant than anything, but I felt the need to let you know because I am sure I have or will have people that follow my blog with monolids or hooded eyes who will share the same struggles as I do. Also, it is MY BLOG and I haven't been on here in a while.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I will now end this post and go to bed... which means letting Bob's Burger play on Netflix while I'm on Tumblr. Hehe. If there is anything you would like to see on here, please let me know in the comments below or hit me up on any one of my social media platforms. I hope you are all doing well and are enjoying your summer so far. Can't wait to hear from you soon.

Take care!

Get to Know Me Tag!

Hey Loves!

How are things going?! I know Iʻve been crazy busy on my end with school, work, and practicum. My job has been on a poppin and soo has my schooling. Itʻs down to the final weeks of school and I canʻt believe I am going to have my Masterʻs within the next couple months. I canʻt believe how far I have come.

Anyways, I just wanted to give you something to read while Iʻm away and hope you enjoy it. I googled some beauty blogger tags and found this one on one of my favorite peoples blogs, Emily Noel of Beauty Broadcast. I have mentioned her in my YouTube Recommendations post and she seriously if one of my favorite beauty gurus, blogger, junkie of all time. Go check out my post and click on her name to view her channel. Hereʻs her link to her tag if you want to see or know more about her.

Sooooooooo, are you ready to get this party started?! Here we go, in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is naturally straight, but it looks wavy if I sleep on it wet or donʻt brush it. Also, because itʻs long, itʻs slightly wavy. When I have shorter hair, itʻs completely straight.

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
Usually, I would die it myself, but I have gotten it done. I have Ombre hair and couldnʻt have done it myself.

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
I tend to stick to the same style everyday just because I canʻt really cake up or dress up for what I do on a daily basis.

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I usually do my own mani/pedi. I will go to a salon maybe at least once a year just to have someone else do it or treat myself.

5. How often do you change your nail polish?
I would say every 2 to 3 weeks. Whenever it starts getting ugly or I get over it. Speaking of which, Iʻll probably go do that after this post.

6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?
I polish my toes all year round. I live in Hawaii and have ugly toe nails. I know I should let them breath a bit, so maybe sometime soon Iʻll let them go all natural when I have at least 2 to 3 days off.

7. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?
It really depends on the day and the occasion. On a normal daily routine, I can take up to 10 to 15 minutes. If I am feeling like I want to add some more "umph" to my routine, it can take up to 30 minutes. Blending is what takes up most of the time.

8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I tend to do my face first when itʻs my daily routine, but if I do my "umph" routine, I will do my eyes first.

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
You can say that I lean towards more collecting makeup. I donʻt honestly need all the products that I have, but itʻs soo hard to resist!

10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Not very often. I only wear false lashes when I do my cake up routines and thatʻs when Iʻm bored or have down time at home.

11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?
I would have to say yes. I donʻt cake up, but you can tell Iʻm wearing a full face.

12. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?
Like I mentioned before, when I cake up I tend to be at home alone

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?
I donʻt like to, but I have. I absolutely feel uncomfortable without any foundation or something that covers my actual face. I feel like I have really bad acne scars and think people are staring at me. I know, I have issues. LOL.

14. How many high-end products do you have?
I would say at least 20 or a little more or less. I donʻt have super expensive products, but I have splurged in the last few weeks on some higher end palettes which are the most expensive items I have. Most of the brunt of my high-end products would be MAC lipsticks.

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?
Depending on the occasion, I will get an idea overnight. Most times, I just look at what I have when Iʻm getting ready in the morning.

16. How often do you change your handbag?
Not often. I have been using my Michael Kors Fulton Small Saffiano Leather Messenger bag. I love that its a crossbody with a built in wallet. It has ample room for basics and fit perfectly for my crazy busy life.

17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
Depends on the day. I tend to wake up between 7 or 8 something in the morning. Most of the time, I stay up til like at least 11 or 12 at night. If I have the day off, I sleep in just a little bit and stay up til the wee hours of the morning.

18. How often or when do you workout?
Oh boy. I wish I had more time to workout! I get in these spurts where I will go for an entire week doing good and then donʻt work out for months. I hope to get into a better routine once Iʻm done with Grad school.

19. Left handed or right handed?
Right.

20. How tall are you?
5'4" or 5ʻ5". Iʻm not sure.

21. Do you speak any foreign languages?
Not really, unless you count pidgin?! I know words here and there from other languages, but canʻt full on speak another language. One day I hope to!

22. How many pets do you have?
I have one and heʻs a cream colored pomeranian named Snuggles. Iʻve had him since I was 13, thus his name. Damn, time flies. I canʻt believe my baby is gonna be 11 this year!

23. How often are you on Blogger?
Not as often as I would like to be. I come on here at least once a month or more depending on my down time and creative flow.

24. Do you read comments posted on blogs?
Honestly, maybe a few times here and there. I donʻt get any comments (sad face) so I creep on other blogs once in a while.

25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
YES! I love watching YouTubers or checking out Instagram to see whatʻs the latest thing out there in the beauty world. I donʻt get my hands on much, but when I do, I love to play with it and do a review if I can.

26. How did you come up with your blog name?
I came up with it because I feel that I have this raw resilience that has led me to where I am today. I have been through a lot of deep messed up stuff and I am only 23 years old. You can only imagine the things I have been through. Maybe Iʻll post about it one day. Anyways, I live a very fulfilling and happy life. It has itʻs ups and downs, but Iʻm grateful for it nonetheless.

27. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?
I just use my iPhone 5. I would love to invest in something of a higher quality tho!

28. How often do you clean your house?
Not as often as I should. I am soo crazy busy with work, school, and practicum that I tend to come home exhausted. I usually have 12-14 hour days. I will be doing some Spring Cleaning soon because my apartment needs some TLC.

29. What's your favorite color?
Seafoam Green! Look it up!

30. Do you swear?
Yes. I have the mouth of a sailor. I am honestly trying to cut it down because I know it ainʻt cute.

31. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
Well, itʻs late in the evening now so I plan to shower, do my usual nighttime routine, cuddle with my baby and watch Netflix til I fall asleep.

Whew! 31 questions down! That took me some time to complete. Honestly, you wouldnʻt think so, but it does! I had to think about some of these.

Anyways, hope you liked this and got to know me a little better. Let me know in the comment section below if you like these kind of tags or if you want to know more about me. Leave me a question or two and Iʻll answer them!

Hope all is well and Iʻll see you next time!

Makeup Wish List

Hey Loves!

How is 2015 treating you so far? I know I have been semi-busy lately with starting school again and working here and there. What are you guys up to? I would love to know! Comment below if youʻre working, going to school, both, or whatever you like!

I just wanted to share some items that I have on my "wish list". I have had some of these products on my list either since last year or taken a recent interest in. All of the products down below will be listed have a link to them so you can find out more info. These products range from high end to drugstore and vary in price. I would have to be honest in saying that I am banking on my tax returns to get majority of them due to their cost. As you all know I am a grad student who lives on her own and works part-time which means I have no money.

*DISCLAIMER* Some of these products are just those that I am interested in and can of course live without. I can actually live without all of these products lol. The main ones I would like have an asterisk located next to them.

**If thereʻs a through the products, it means Iʻve bought it already ;)**

*ABH Liquid Lipstick in the shades "Bambi", "Heathers", "Pure Hollywood", and "Sad Girl"
http://anastasiabeverlyhills.com/makeup/liquid-lipstick.html
($20 each) (*I would most like Bambi and Pure Hollywood*)

($20 each)

Nars Kabuki "Ita" Brush
($55)

Nars "Virtual Domination" Cheek Palette
($65)

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in "Transylvania"
($6)

Rimmel Lip Liner in "Eastend Snob"

($44)

Too Faced "Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar"

($49)

*Urban Decay "Naked 3" Palette
http://www.sephora.com/naked3-P384099?skuId=1573336

Roughly, if I was able to get ALL of these without adding in the Rimmel Show Off Matte Lip Velvet, Iʻm looking to blow $670 without tax, shipping and/or Hawaiʻi prices for makeup. I wonʻt obviously be getting all of these products at once, but I would like to have all of these or most of these products by the end of 2015. Again, the ones with the asterisk are the ones I would indefinitely purchase if I had the money while the others are just those that interest me and I would be curious to try/purchase if I had extra money.

Now, if I add in the total of the ones with the asterisk by them, I would be looking to spend roughly around $274 without tax, shipping and/or Hawaiʻi prices for makeup. I could see doing that with a tax return. I wouldnʻt feel soo terrible if I did that. Again, I am hoping to get a HUGE tax return which would be able to let me be able to spend this amount without feeling completely guilty.

Yes, I agree my list is pretty long. I am sure those of you who are in similar situations as me where having money for these purchases is an issue can relate to me. Hehe. Ahh, a girl can dream and damn, do I have a lot of dreams!

I am curious to know what are some items that are on your wish list and what would be first on your list? I know I alphabetized mine, like the OCD person that I am, but it seems like I got a "top 5" list of items that are must haves for me. LOL.

Comment down below or tell me on my post that links to this on either Instagram, Makeupsocial, or Twitter. Canʻt wait to read your responses!

Hope you have a great day and rest of your week! See you next time!

*UPDATED* YouTube Channel Recommendations

Hey Loves!

I have been looking through my blog and I was trying to figure out what I should talk about next. As I was looking I noticed that I had written about some of my YouTube recommendations in 2013. I must say that I have since changed who I watch and have found some new channels since then. Also, I should have titled it "My YouTube Subscriptions" versus "YouTube Channel Recommendations." Oh well, you get what I was trying to do.

In my previous post I had listed my recommendations with a blurb. This time, I will just put their name and when you click on the name itʻll take you straight to their channel. All of my recommendations are those who talk about beauty or beauty related topics, do makeup tutorials, hauls, reviews, etc. Also, they have some great DIY projects or hacks here and there. So here it goes!

I hope that you find this to be helpful and that you subscribe to some of these channels. I like what each of these YouTubers have to offer. I also like that they each have their own style, but something from each appeals to me and my personal style.

What are some YouTubers that you all watch? I would love to see how you would recommend to me and why.

Stay tuned for my next blog post and see you next time!
